1962-2024
Randy Scott Blanton, 61 of Catlettsburg Ky, went home to be with the Lord on
Saturday, June, 15th 2024. Randy was born in Ashland Ky to Joyce Ann (Bell)
Blanton and the late Robert "Banjo" Blanton on September 1st, 1962
He was preceded in death by one son, Russell Andrew Yates, His Father Banjo
Blanton, One brother Ronnie Blanton, Two sisters Lynn Butler, Patricia Ann
Blanton and One nephew Bradley Blanton.
He is Survived by His mother Joyce Blanton, The mother of his children & love
of his life Shonda Crisp. Two Sons Brandon Blanton of Catlettsburg Ky, Christopher Blanton (Kaitlyn) of Catlettsburg Ky, Two Daughters Christy Tucker (Glen) of Fort Gay WV & Bobbi Sue Shelton (Doug) Of Ashland Ky. Randy has 9
grandchildren, Breanna Wallace (Andrew), Autumn Tucker (Corey), Darren
Byrne, Alyssa Shelton, Hayden Shelton, Isabella Shelton, MaKayla Shelton,
Braylee Blanton, and Brynlee Blanton, He has 6 great grandchildren. Harlie,
Cayson, Luke, Rylie, Bell, Zane.
Randy Leaves behind four Brothers, Bill Blanton (Joyce), Ray Blanton (Joyce)
Rick Blanton, Jim Blanton, and along with a slew of Nieces & Nephews whom
he loved dearly.
Randy never met a stranger and had a slew of friends to prove it. He loved life & loved to enjoy life. he loved anything to do with Kentucky Wildcats and the
Cincinnati Reds Baseball
A memorial service to honor the life of Randy will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 beginning at 6:00 pm at Neal Funeral Home, located at 2409 Center Street Catlettsburg, KY. Visitation for friends and family will take place prior to the service from 4pm to 6pm.
