Randy Brown: The Man, The Myth, The Legend of One-liners and Questionable Decisions
Randy Brown, known affectionately as "Dad," "kicked the bucket" on November 1st, 2025, surrounded by his family. He passed in a way that he would have insisted upon, with his loved ones sharing jokes, having a beer for him, and watching the World Series.
Dad lived a full life, mostly on his terms. Which generally involved a healthy dose of sarcasm inappropriate one-liners and an unhealthy amount of pie and a belief that beer was a food group.
Born August 21st, 1955, with a beer in his hand (as you can see).
Randy was an avid collector of sports memorabilia, especially Yankees items, a passion he lovingly referred to as his "sickness." He had a rare talent for finding that one-of-one piece.
He is survived by his kids, grandkids, and anyone else lucky enough to have called him "Dad", "Hoppa", "Grandpa." Or any other "Choice" word that was fitting. He would say to them with a laugh, saying, "Good luck with that, because you're going to be pissed at me because I have sh*t in every corner!"
Randy will be lovingly remembered for:
• His willingness to be there to help with any project you threw his way.
• His love and commitment for his family.
• His talent for always having that perfect one-liner.
• His strong belief that Beer is truly a food group "Pork Chop in a can to be exact."
He was a unique man, and if you knew him, you were one of the lucky ones to have been touched by his contagious humor and personality.
In lieu of flowers, Dad would have wanted you to do one of the following: have a beer while watching a game, toast to good times, or if you're feeling wild, start your own Teeny Mates collection.
A celebration of Randy's life will be held at his home at 5758 Lugano Drive, West Jordan, UT 84081, on November 15th, 2025, starting at 5 p.m. and going until you "crawl on home."
As Dad would say, "Hasta la PeePee."
