Randy Juhas Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brigham Funeral Chapel - Edmore on Jan. 24, 2025.
With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Randy Juhas, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by those that knew him. Randy passed peacefully surrounded with love after a brief but fierce battle with cancer.
Randy was born on April 4, 1949, in Niles, Michigan, to his parents James and Wanda. He was raised in the Sheridan area, where he attended Sheridan community schools, graduating in 1967.
During the Vietnem War Randy bravely served as a Corpsman on the U.S.S. Saratoga. He often helped to care for the wounded, allowing him the opportunity to meet President Nixon. Upon discharge, as a young husband and father, Randy quickly started working for Ameritech as a lineman; where he stayed for 33 faithful years. Randy being the hard worker he was, meant that in "retirement "Randy and his wife started a cleaning business.
As an active member of Crystal Lake Community Church; Randy loved giving of his skills and time by cleaning the church weekly. To know Randy was to know a man who loved cleanliness. If cleanliness is next to Godliness, Randy was closer to God than most. We find peace in the knowledge that Randy is pain free in Heaven. Surely already talking about the Lions 2025 season with his dad James.
He loved spending time with those he loved. If he wasn't watching sports or spending time with family; Randy loved being on the water. Fishing, boating, pulling his girls on a tube, the water brought him both peace and joy.
Randy will be missed by his wife, Kay Juhas; Children, Bree (Craig) of Howell, Heather (Richard) of Northbranch, Gabrielle (Nathan) of Portland; Granddaughters, Bella and Elleanna; Brother, James (Brenda) Juhas and Sister Deanne McNickles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Wanda; Siblings, Connie Wagner, Wanda Horsley, and Larry Lincoln.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 5-7PM at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore. A service in Randy's honor will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Crystal Lake Community Church at 11AM. Family will greet guests from 10AM until the time of service.
