Randy Lee Lund, age 69, of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, and went to be with our Lord.
A devoted believer, Randy found great comfort in his faith. He was a longtime resident of Woolmarket and had recently relocated to Long Beach due to an eight-year battle with illness.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred James “A.J.” Lund Jr.; and his beloved mother, Dorothy Maye “Dot” Duggan Lund.
Randy is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife of 42 years, Donna Ness Lund; his two daughters, Michelle Thomas (Robert) and Melissa Lund; and three grandchildren, Hannah, Robert, and Tucker. He is also survived by his two sisters, Patricia “Pat” Ladnier and Pamela “Pam” Lund; his mother-in-law, Leila Susan Ness; his brother-in-law, Jimmy Ness; his sister-in-law, Beth Davis (Ralph); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Randy shared a particularly close bond with his cousin Carlo Duggan, who was more like a brother than a cousin and remained steadfastly by his side. He also leaves behind his cherished German Shepherd, Lil’ Girl, and Yorkie, Toby, whom he loved dearly.
Each year, Randy eagerly anticipated Cruisin’ the Coast, where he reveled in antique cars, setting up on Biloxi Beach with his lawn chair and beer cooler. An avid fan of rock music, he was a dedicated weightlifter who worked out daily and took great pride in maintaining his three acres of meticulously manicured land.
Above all, Randy cherished his family, who were his greatest pride and joy. Randy will be dearly missed by all who knew him. With his ever-present smile, he touched countless lives and was truly one of a kind.
