Randy Ramirez, of Lubbock, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 6, 2023. He was born to Agustin and Odelia (Martinez) Ramirez on March 6, 1967, in Lubbock, Texas.
Randy was a devoted Catholic and found his strength through Christ, as a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Lubbock. He worked as an electrician for over 30 years and could always be counted on as a handyman. He loved playing horseshoes, fishing, spending time with his family, and watching his Dallas Cowboys.
Randy will be remembered for more than his skills as an electrician, but also for the love that he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues.
Left to cherish Randy’s memory is his son, Sergio and Emily Ramirez and their children, Malakai and Anayah; daughter, Alexandra and Rafael Pimentel and their children, Izaiah, Jeremiah, and Josiah; son Randy Jr. and Kelly Ramirez and their children, Julian, Jadis, Emma, and Emerie; stepdaughter, Liliana Gomez; brother, Ray Ramirez; and sister, Meliza Martinez.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Agustin and Odelia Ramirez; wife, Priscilla Ramirez; sister, Amalia Armenta; and brother, Noel Ramirez.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at The Venue on Broadway in Lubbock, Texas. Following the visitation, a Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM. The Venue on Broadway is located at 2202 Broadway St, Lubbock, Texas 79401.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. The church is located at 3111 Erskine St, Lubbock, Texas 79415.
