It is with great sadness that I am sharing the unexpected passing of Randy. He has now been reunited with our daughter, Ally, in heaven.

Randy A. Reschke, age 64, of Neillsville, passed away at his home from a cardiac embolism on January 9, 2025. Randy was born July 9, 1960, to the late Roger and Diane (Lauer) Reschke in Kaukauna, WI. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1978.

Randy worked at SCA Essity Paper Mill for over 40 years. He was known as the Jokester and one of the best machine operators by his many good friends there.

Randy loved being retired at the “cabin” home in Neillsville with his wife, Anne, of 42 years. Randy enjoyed life, spending a lot of time hunting, fishing and sitting on the dock with Anne. Randy always had a “buddy”, Golden Retriever, by his side and his current puppy, Indy, misses him dearly. Randy loved to go fishing in his pond and at the Black River with his nephew, Ryan. Randy spent many days in the pond with his little buddies, Emma, Brooke and Bennett Spencer. Being a sports enthusiast, Randy always had a passion for teaching kids how to play sports and hunt using all of his natural talent. Being a fan since he was 8 years old, you could always find him cheering on the Jets. Randy enjoyed collecting and took pride in restoring ’68 and 69’ Cameros, taking many 1st place trophies at the car shows.

Randy is survived by his loving wife, Anne (Janssen) Reschke; five siblings: Cindy (Kevin) Wundrow of Appleton, Jeff Reschke of Kimberly, Jim (Deb) Reschke of Hortonville, Julie Fromhart of Greenville, Lu (Matt) Zeegers of Kimberly, and brother-in-law Scott Fromhart of Appleton; his in-laws: Linda (Jerry) Vanevenhoven of Kaukauna, Cindy (Dave) Vander Zanden of Hortonville, Deb (Greg) Sprangers of Darboy, Jim (Sue) Janssen of Appleton, Steve (Joan) Janssen of Greenville, Mike (Tammy) Janssen of Post Lake; and so very many nieces and nephews. Randy is also survived by his dear friends Dennis Ganzen of Appleton, Annie (mom) Knueppl of Hortonville and Payton Biese of Little Chute, Walter (Lorraine) Spencer of Neillsville and Mark (Morgan) Spencer of Neillsville.

Randy is preceded in death by his daughter, Allyssa ‘Ally’ Anne Reschke, two nephews Nick and Mike Vander Zanden who he loved deeply, his parents Roger and Diane (Lauer) Reschke, father-in-law and mother-in-law Merl and Joyce (Oudenhoven) Janssen.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Give our Ally a big hug from Momma.

Love you always,

Anne
