Ray Vernon Coon

Ray Coon, age 89, was born on March 14, 1933 to Bernard Elwood Coon and Catherine Evelyn (Kenoyer) Coon and passed away on September 4, 2022. Ray married Ingeborg Buchholz on August 27, 1955 in Berlin, Germany and were blessed with a daughter Angelica Renee Coon on September 21, 1964.
Ray is survived by his sister Dorothy Webb, brother LeRoy Coon and his wife June, sister Betty Leonard, and many nieces and nephews. Ray is preceded in death by his infant brother Jerry Dale Coon, his parents Bernard and Catherine Coon, his wife Ingeborg Coon, his daughter Angelica Coon and his brother Jack Bernard Coon (Gabriel).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17 from 1:00-2:00pm at Sunset Memorial Chapel with burial to follow. Ray will be laid to rest next to his wife, daughter and other beloved family members at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
