It is with great sadness, that we announce that Ray Eldon Creech, 81, of Winfield, MO passed away on July 19, 2024 with his family by his side at SSM- St. Charles Hospital. He was born on February 27, 1943, the youngest of nine children to William Luther and Buna Vestine (Taylor) Creech. Eldon and Barb were united in marriage on May 20, 1961 at New Galilee Christian Church. To this union were born, Randy and Pamela. Eldon worked for 9 years as a farm hand, a part-time farrier for 15 years and a full-time mechanic for 38 years. Eldon and Barb were married for 63 years and traveled with friends to all 50 states. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pinochle, tinkering in the garage for hours, gardening, bowling and telling numerous stories. Eldon also enjoyed showing horses. His favorite times were spent with family and playing with the grandkids. Eldon was a member of Missouri Trail Riders Association, Teamsters Union 682 and Hawk Point Community Church. He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
Eldon is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Barb Creech of Winfield, MO, his son, Randy (Nancy) Creech of Troy, MO, daughter, Pamela Vosse of Ballwin, MO, daughter-in-law, Sara Creech of Hawk Point, MO, grandchildren; Ben (Kaylee) Creech of Columbia, MO, Abi (Brock) Byington of Troy, MO, Ashley Taylor, Brenna Vosse of Ballwin, MO, great-grandchildren; ( Pa-Pa) to Knox, Henry, Boone, Leo and Tate.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Hawk Point Community Church 322 Maple St. Hawk Point, MO 63349
A Service of Remembrance will also be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 4 p.m. at Hawk Point Community Church, Hawk Point. Rev. Rhonda Aldridge to officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials to; Hawk Point Community Church c/o the funeral home
