Ray Hagar Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Clovis Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services on Mar. 31, 2026.
Ray Hagar, age 86, of Clovis, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on December 28, 1939 in Carney, OK, he was a devoted Christian who lived his life guided by faith, love, and service to others. He was a faithful church member of Bethel Christian church in San Jose where he worshipped, served, and found deep community throughout much of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Amal, who was his partner, best friend, and constant support. Ray has two loving daughters, Stephanie and Sabrina, who were the pride and joy of his life.
He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandfather to his great-grandchildren. His family was his greatest treasure, and he delighted in every moment spent with them-whether sharing stories, offering wisdom rooted in Scripture, praying together, or simply enjoying their laughter and company.

He worked diligently as a general contractor, real estate broker and later as a trucker with his wife Amal for many years.
A man of strong faith, he trusted fully in the saving grace of Jesus Christ and looked forward with hope to his eternal home. He often reminded his family that he was ready to be in his Lord's presence which gives many of us hope and grateful anticipation of what's to come.

Funeral services will be held at Clovis Christian Church on April 13, 2026 at 9:00 AM, followed by a reception. Departure to Clovis Cemetery will be approximately 12:30PM. Viewing will be Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 3 to 5 PM at Clovis Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a favorite Christian charity or ministry.

He is now safely home in the arms of his Savior, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and faithful devotion to his family.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
