For over sixty years, Uncle Ray was a huge part of my life and he will be missed. While he was more on the quiet side, he was a loving uncle with a beautiful smile and I could usually coax a grin from him. Growing up, I spent many summers in PA staying and playing at his house. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Ray ~ being at Hykes Mill, skating, sledding, camping & just enjoying time together. When Lori & I were both five years old, I remember him telling Lori & I to be careful around Inky (Lori´s sheep) and scolding us when Lori & I rode Inky; Inky & Uncle Ray were not happy! As with the golf cart incident ~ while Uncle Ray scolded us; he still hugged us and always watched out for us. In recent years, I enjoying visiting Ray & Dolores and spending time together. Please know are thoughts and prayers are with all of you; especially Lori, Debbie and Dolores.

Lori and Debbie my sincere condolences as you say your final good-bye to your dad. I have such fond memories of our families spending endless hours together in our growing up years. Our moms were sisters and their bond served as the glue that forged a friendship between our dads and us as kids! Much of my memories surround our antics while camping, swimming, and just playing in the yard; your dad was always quiet in the background keeping an eye on us. I remember exploring the mill when we would visit you and of course our golf cart incident! Hope the memories bring a smile and may God comfort you as only He can during this time.
