Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Ray Anthony “Tony” Inman, 74, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Jason McGuffie officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.

Tony was born on October 14, 1951 in Corinth, MS and passed away on November 22, 2025. He was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and member of First Baptist Church West Monroe, LA. Tony was also a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a remarkable member of the Louisiana Tech Community, where he was a gifted Teacher and Researcher, and a steady, positive force for so many people over the years. Tony was a Professor of Supply Chain Management/ Century Next Bank Endowed Professor. He loved sharing his time with students in the classroom, having lunch with dear friends and coworkers, playing tennis and guitar, and spending time with family.

Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Lewell Farris Inman.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Inman; son, Anthony “Grant” Inman and partner, Rachel McClure; stepchildren, Laurel Sampognaro and husband, Mike and Carlie Andrews; grandchildren, Mollie Andrews and Teagan Inman; uncle, Aaron Farris and niece, Cassie Farris.

Pallbearers will be Tim Barnett, Bryan Fuller, Steve Hearne, Mike Sampognaro, David Trussell, and Matt Turpin.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First West or the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana.
