Ray Anthony Malone, affectionately known as, "Tony," passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born to Hattie Louise Malone and Eugene Childs on August 15, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio.

Ray attended Columbus City Schools and graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1979. He entered the United States Army November 1980 and was honorably discharged in 1983.

Upon returning to Columbus, he began to work for the United States Postal Service in 1984. He married Johnette Talley September 1990, and they went on to have sons, Romello and Franco Malone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Childs and Hattie Malone; maternal grandparents Robert and Dilsie Malone; paternal grandparents, Pete and Florence Miller; uncles, Alex and Willie Malone; aunt, Mary Ferguson.

Ray enjoyed life. He loved to ride his Harley Davidsons, fishing (especially with his special son), music, sports, working on cars and a challenge! Most of all he loved his family! Whatever he did was out of the love he had for them.

Ray leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Johnette Malone; sons, Romello Malone, Franco Malone; special son/nephew, Antonio (Monick) Malone; siblings, Herman (Harriett) Malone, Donna Malone, Richard (Karen) Malone, Terry Malone and Debbie Ingram; and honorary brother Juan (Jada) Malone; uncles, Robert Malone Jr. and Henry Malone; and aunt, Martha (Billie) Williams along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Ray will be able to see his loved ones who went before him, waiting to receive him with open arms and assure him it is well my son, it is well.
