Ray Moore, age 76, of London, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. He leaves behind his brother, Delbert Moore & wife Arthie of London, KY; his niece, Debbie Sizemore & husband Seldon; his nephew, Nathan Moore; and by four great nephews, Jesse Karr & wife Ashley, Michael Karr, Joseph Halfhill, Nathan Moore Jr; his great niece, Kendra Moore; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar & Idella Wells Moore; and by three siblings, Franklin R. Moore, Herman Moore, Rebecca Moore. Ray worked faithfully as a farmer for more than 40 years, dedicating his life to caring for the land. Ray loved Jesus with all his heart and was a proud, faithful member of Moore's Chapel Baptist Church. He cherished his church family and found great joy in worship and fellowship. Known for being quite a character, Ray was always smiling and bringing laughter to those around him. His strong faith, hard work, and love for others touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, church family, and community, but his joyful spirit and legacy of faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. A funeral service honoring Ray Moore will be held on Thursday September 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Ronnie Hale and Dewayne Arthur officiating. Interment will follow at the Moore Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
