Ray "Raymond" Pulver passed away on August 9, 2025, due to a stroke. He lived in the same home his entire life.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma, stepmother, Hazel, Father Jim, and brother Larry. He is survived by his sister, Beverly, and the adopted family of the Caldwells.
Ray also leaves behind many friends, including Bill and Steve Sheldon and their families, the pit crew of the old "02" stock car and their families, including "Dr Cathy" and a few cousins that are scattered around still.
Ray graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, Kansas, in 1966 and retired from Bennett Packaging in 2013, where he had been a forklift driver and over-the-road trucker for 25 years. He attended High Point Southern Baptist Church as well as White Church Southern Baptist Church.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Ray on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at Maywood Community Church, 11201 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, Kansas, 66109. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with services starting at 11:00 am, concluding at 12:00 pm. At the end of the services, we will be having lunch in honor of Ray. The family invites all to stay after the service to enjoy the fellowship in his honor.
