Raye came to our Nicolet Rec Dept sewing class for a while. She was amazing, a survivor who told about her father, a tailor who had taught her to sew, her experiences in a concentration camp. She was proud to have lived and produced generations of Jewish children and grandchildren. She saw herself as a winner because of that. I'm sorry not to have known about her death sooner, as I woud have liked to meet her family.
