Rayeann Hayes
Poultney- Rayeann Hayes, 55, of Poultney, following a short illness, left this earth to be reunited with her father (Francis) in heaven on Saturday May 31, 2025.
She was born on October 29, 1969, in Rutland, the daughter of Francis and Janet(Jones) Hayes. Miss Hayes attended and then graduated from Poultney High School in 1987.
Rayeann owned her own accounting business and had several clients. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Piper, who she cherished. She loved working in her flower garden along with designing and making her own cards for the different holidays.
Survivors include her mother Janet Hayes of Poultney, a sister Paula Poisson of Saratoga Springs, NY, a brother Tim McClure of Poultney, several nieces and nephews: Amanda Abare and her daughter Mackenzie Hamm of Corinth, NY, Levi Gordon and wife Summer and sons Ryan, Logan, Deaken, and Camden Gordon of Holiday, FL, Christopher McClure and wife Toni, Daughter Aubrey and son Maverick McClure, Luc Poisson, wife Courtney and daughter Janessa of South Glens Falls, NY and Richelle Poisson of Chicago IL.
Rayeann was predeceased by her father, Francis Hayes on April 30, 2023.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Durfee Funeral Home, 119 North Main Street, in Fair Haven, VT. Calling hours will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Middle Granville, NY.
