Rayleen M. Walsh, 63, of Copley, passed away after a long battle with Crohn's Disease and its complications on September 10, 2024. She was born in Akron on December 9, 1960 to Ellen {Phillips} Bloom and the late Raymond Bloom.
Rayleen is survived by her loving husband Edward; mother Ellen Skeens; daughter Michelle (DJ) Meeker; son Dustin (Amanda) Brink; step-sons John (Karen Krumpak) and Joe (Alexia) Walsh; grandchildren Aydin, Cyandra, Elyana, Jaxson, Waylon, Ranae and Ryelee; siblings John (Becky) Bloom, Terri (John) Lancaster and Joann Klingensmith and their families.
Rayleen was a dedicated, hard worker, who was loved and admired by her co-workers, until she reluctantly retired due to health concerns. Her family came before all else, no matter her physical challenges.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, September 13th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 14th with Pastor Paul Bloom officiating. Interment to follow the service at Hillside Memorial Park, where Rayleen will be laid to rest near her father, Ray.
