Raymond Bertrand Obituary

Raymond was a Social Studies Teacher at Waterford Halfmoon High School for 34 years and retired in 2004. He founded the AP US History Program and was a beloved baseball and basketball coach at the school. He subsequently was a volunteer at the Saratoga National Historical Park where he was a Ranger and taught history to the visitors there. He was an avid hiker.
Survivors include his daughters, Sarah Mactal (John) of Gansevoort and Nicole Bertrand Post of Denmark. He is the brother of the late Michael Bertrand and is the proud grandfather of Penelope and Elizabeth Mactal and Rosalind and Miranda Post.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of his family.
