Raymond William Borowicz

Raymond William Borowicz, age 87 of Alma passed away peacefully Monday, March 10, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alma. He was born March 2, 1938, in Marshall County, Minnesota, the son of Daniel and Cecilia (Kasprowicz) Borowicz. Ray was a graduate of Our Lady of the Ozark High School in Missouri and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University. He married the love of his life Linda LaRoque on June 15, 1968, a blessed union of nearly 57 years.
Ray was a faithful member of Nativity of the Lord Parish. He actively served on the Knights of Columbus Council 2966. Ray was a man of great faith and was a true example of living through Christ to those who knew him.
Ray worked as a loan officer with GreenStone Farm Credit service for many years, before his retirement. He proudly served his community helping area farmers. He was a past member of the Chamber of Commerce.
Ray is survived by his wife Linda Borowicz; his children Ramona Borowicz, Emilie (Stein) Brunvand, David (Lina) Borowicz, Joseph Borowicz; grandchildren Jacob (Sophie) Davison, Jenna (Jacob Myny) Davison, Madelyn Brunvand, Linnea Brunvand, Gibson Borowicz, Samuel Borowicz; and his siblings Rita, Roger, Rhodella.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Robert, Richard, Rudolph, Rosemary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 12 pm at Nativity of the Lord Parish in St. Louis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of services at the church. A Rosary led by Ray's sister, Rita will begin at 9:30 am prior to visitation. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Mary's School. Interment will be held at a later date at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Florian, MN.
