Raymond "Ray" L. Brothers, age 82, of Meadville, PA passed away on Friday December 13, 2024 at Embassy of Park Ave. He was born on December 20, 1941 in Mahaffey, PA to the late Calvin and Doris (Kritzer) Brothers. He married Portia Thompson on March 13, 1965. She preceded him in death on November 10, 2018.
Ray worked in numerous tool and die shops in the Meadville area for many years. He briefly served in the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and, drinking beer with friends while telling many jokes and stories.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Limano and her husband. David of Meadville, PA; granddaughters, Courtney Zunic and her husband, Joshua of Wexford, PA, Gabrielle Limano and her companion, Paul Dean of Meadville, PA, Alexandra of Chicago, IL, Raphael Brothers and her fiancée, Blaine Specht of Pittsburgh, PA and Lillith Brothers of Pittsburgh, PA and his grandson, Nicholas Limano and his wife, Lauren of Conneaut Lake, PA; his great granddaughter, Haisley Limano of Conneaut Lake, PA and his dear friends, Gary and Carol Thomas of Meadville, PA and his friends and neighbors, Larry and Ruth Spencer of Meadville, PA.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Ray was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Brothers.
As per Ray's wishes there will be no services.
