Raymond A. Clark, Sr., of Levittown and formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was 96 years old. Ray, as he was known by his family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on October 24, 1928 to the late William and Rebecca (née Thomas) Clark. He was the husband to the late Elizabeth M. (née O'Hare) Clark.

Ray grew up in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia and graduated from Frankford High School. He attended Temple University. He was one of nine siblings. Ray was a very hard worker working two jobs while raising his family and having many jobs in his lifetime.

Ray was very proud to serve in the Marine Corps during WWII stationed in China and Hawaii. Ray was retired from the Philadelphia Police Department.

Ray owned Wackys Pizza which is where he met the love of his life Betty. While sitting at the counter and kicking his jukebox, he said "Do you kick your furniture at home?" At that she snickered and he offered her a job and the rest is history.

Ray worked and retired from Sears after 40 plus years. While there he was proud to be the shop Stewart of the Union. He was a TV and computer technician.

Ray was also a bartender on the side which he loved. He was such a fun and social guy everyone would always sit by his end of the bar.

Ray was very funny and had a great sense of humor.

Ray loved his family. He loved spending time together with family dinners and going on many family vacations to Wildwood and Disney World. Ray loved horses and owned one name Rex. Ray had many hobbies like reading, fishing, hunting, woodworking, golfing, and boating. Ray was an avid boater owning many different boats. His favorite being Lucky Liz named after his wife. He belonged to the Quaker City and Pennsylvania Yacht Clubs. He was very proud to serve as Treasurer and Commodore at the Quaker City Yacht Club.

Ray and Betty were happily married for 55 years raising their family together until her passing in 2014. Shortly after, Ray moved in with his youngest daughter Lori but continued to share many family dinners with his daughter Lisa and her family, and his son Raymond.

Ray lived a long full life surrounded by his family and friends enjoying life as best as he could until the end where he died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Raymond was the father to the late infant Raymond A. Clark, Jr., Lisa M. Junod (Frank, Jr.), the late Raymond M. Clark, Lori A. Pospiech (Richard), and is survived by his grandchildren: Jillian Deacon (Henry), Frank Junod III (Taylor), Michael Junod (Jillian), Stephen Junod (Anna), Rebecca Clark, Carly Schlegel (Matthew), Alexa Pospiech, Richie Pospiech, Jr., and his great grandchildren: Isabella Junod, Sophia Junod, Michael Junod, Ryan Junod, Madison Junod, Maverick Deacon, Frankie Junod, Sloan Junod, Charlotte Junod, and is expecting two great grandbabies.
