Raymond Dale Fritz, 92, passed away on April 7, 2025. He was born in Bazine, Kansas, on January 21, 1933, to David Henry Fritz and Elizabeth (Hagelgantz) Fritz.
Raymond was kind and generous but also a jokester. He was also a hard worker and spent his whole life working on his farm. During his free time, Raymond enjoyed woodworking and car racing. Raymond loved to take his 1941 Willys to car shows, where he won many trophies.
Raymond always put family first. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Fritz; sister, Joan Nies; and first wife, Margaret Fritz.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Karen Fritz of Gentry, AR; daughter, Marilyn Tennison and husband Robin of Pleasant Hill, MO; step-children, Bryon Williams, Toby Williams, and Krisit Cox; grandchildren, Christopher Tennison and Vanessa Prusia; great-grandchildren, Emmy Prusia, McCoy Prusia, Griffey Prusia, and Saylor Tennison; step-grandchildren, Kristalyn Hale, Christopher Hale, Trevor Williams, Lindsey Williams, Melody Baronti, and Megan Williams; and numerous, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A visitation will be held at Wasson Funeral Home on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Springtown Seventh-day Adventist Church on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The burial will be at Bazine Cemetery in Bazine, KS, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
