Raymond was an adventurous soul who found joy and serenity in the simplicity of fishing, a pastime that allowed him to connect with nature's splendor. His ambitious nature was evident in his fascination with airplanes, an interest that soared beyond the ordinary. Raymond's dedication was most apparent in his committed marriage to his beloved wife, Claudia Gade. Their love story was as captivating as it was enduring, marking 66 years of shared joys, triumphs, and dreams. This July 11 would have marked their 67th anniversary, a testament to their unyielding love and commitment.
Raymond's life was a beacon of love and dedication that extended beyond his immediate family. He was the proud patriarch of three daughters, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. His love for his grandkids was as vast as the ocean, as constant as the northern star. Yet, despite his deep love for his family, Raymond was a private man. He valued the sanctity of personal space and cherished the quiet moments of solitude that allowed him to reflect and appreciate the beauty of life.
