Raymond B. Giovanini

Raymond was born on March 8, 1920 and passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Raymond was a resident of Pontiac, Illinois at the time of his passing. Ray graduated from Carlinville High School Class of 1938. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1941 to 1945 with squadron VJ16. He was married to Harriet. His service will be held Saturday November 28 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Pontiac with Father David Sabel officiating. Burial will follow with full military rites at St. Maryâs Catholic Cemetery in Pontiac. Visitation will be Friday November 27 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home 903 West Custer Avenue Pontiac. The Rosary will be held at 3:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry in Pontiac St. Maryâs Catholic School in Pontiac St. Josephâs Catholic Church in Chenoa and Evenglow Lodge Health Center in Pontiac.
