RAYMOND HARTMAN Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 20, 2025.
Raymond Hartman, 86, passed away on July 23, 2025, at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, MD. Born on December 17, 1938, Ray graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1957 and went on to establish a life marked by quiet dignity and a deep commitment to his family and community.

Ray will be remembered for his steadfast love of family, his quiet strength, and his enduring presence in the lives of those who knew him. A devoted husband.he shared most of his life in marriage with his cherished wife Mary Lou Jaeschke Hartman, his children, Dyanna Margus (Peter), Donna Embrey, Kenneth Hartman (Melinda), Galen Hartman (Leslie), David Hartman, and Raymond Hartman (Tracy). Ray was a proud and deeply caring grandfather to nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride into his life. He is also survived by six brothers and sisters. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Hartman and Mary Ileen Clarke, his son Steven Hartman, and his sister Patricia McGraw.

Ray's love for golf, spending time with his family, and watching every sports show on TV filled his leisure time and brought him much joy. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his children and grandchildren, and in the home and community he called his own.

A service to honor Ray's life will be held at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Rd., Middletown, MD, on October 25th at 10 o'clock. RAYMOND HARTMAN
