On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Raymond J. "Ray" Hindman, age 83, of Baldwin Borough, passed away with his family by his side. Beloved husband of 61 years to Mary K (Gruber) Hindman; loving father of Christine (Bob) Streyle, Lora L. (Bob) Horvath, Raymond M. (Dina) Hindman, and John A. (Janine) Hindman; cherished grandfather of Robert "RJ" (Lei-Shell) Streyle, Krista (Brett) Black, Meghan (Matt) Steiner, Nolan (fiancee Ellena) Hindman, Emmalee Hindman, Anna Horvath, Ella Hindman and Evan Hindman; proud great-grandfather of Maya and Ruby Streyle, Charlotte Black, and Elizabeth and Lucas Steiner; brother of Gloria (Brad) Fawcett; brother-in-law of Gilbert (Lou Ann) Gruber of San Jose, CA; preceded in death by his beloved dog, Tinker. Ray was a fun-loving man who was known for his sense of humor and legendary one-liners. He co-owned a transmission repair business, and along with his family was a devoted and active member of St. Germaine Church. His faith kept him strong through his final days, and his favorite saying is more comforting than ever: "I'll see you when I see you, and talk to you when I talk to you." Friends received Friday, August 15th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.) South Park Twp. (412) 655-4600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th in Our Lady of Hope Parish - St. Germaine Church at 10 a.m. Condolences may be offered for the family at www.GriffithFH.com
