Raymond Richard Hulley, 74, of Moore, OK passed away on December 5, 2023. Raymond was born in Campbell County, Kentucky on October 27, 1949, to Charles and Edna Claire Hulley. He attended school in Campbell County, Kentucky Graduating in 1967 so after Raymond heard his country's call to serve his county in the United States Air Force where he rose to the rank of Master Sergeant. In his time in the Air Force Ray spent 12 years as a Communications- Computer System supervisor and another 10 years as an Air Traffic Controller retiring in 1991. After his time in the Air force, he obtained a real estate License where he worked for Dub wells.
Raymond met and married, the love of his life Mercy and shared a marriage with many loving years. Together they raised 3 Children Sharon Hulley, Brian Hulley, and Edna Kelly.
Don't be fooled, Raymond had an ornery side, he was described as mischievous, and playful, but a very dedicated and loyal friend. He really enjoyed being involved in his grandchildren's lives going to any of their sporting events. Raymond also loved OU football, Thunder Basketball, watching the news, military movies, baking for the family and a little sci fi. He later became very involved in the Knights of Columbus through St. Andrews Catholic Church, but most of all enjoyed being a loving father, grandfather, American hero and friend.
Ray is survived by his wife Mercy, his Children, Sharon, Edna, Brian, many grandchildren and a great number of friends and family that will remember him and miss him dearly. It was said the Knights of Columbus were so struck that they even canceled the Annual Christmas party in Remembrance of Raymond and his legacy.
