Raymond M. Hussey, 81, of Marianna, Florida, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Marianna Health and Rehab. He was born August 16, 1943, in Greenwood, Florida to the late Louis and Mary Hussey.
He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and retired as head bus mechanic with Jackson County School Board.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Hussey; his parents; siblings, Nellar Tyus, Ivan Hussey, Burmon Hussey; and one great-grandchild, U’ryiah Hayes.
He is survived by his son, Adam Hussey and Wendi of Marianna; two daughters, Wendy Granger and Thomas of Sneads, Amy Brady of Marianna; two brothers, Earl Hussey of Dellwood, and Millard Hussey of Marianna; two sisters, Lorice Powell of Dellwood, and Mozell Hill of Greenwood; eight grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with David Baldwin officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Burial will follow in the Welcome Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
