For Raymond, his faith, friends, and above all his family were everything. He is survived by his three children Debra Smith (James), Susan Palmadessa and Raymond S. Hutnik, his grandchildren Richard Freeman (darci), Andrew Freeman, Jennifer Somarriba (Leonard), Daniel R. Palmadessa (Shelley), Jordan Hutnik and Julia Hutnik and his great grandchildren, Cailyn, Ethan, Sofi, Myles, Benjamin, Emily, Evan, Elizabeth and Haley.
Raymond is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Julia, brother's Andrew and wife Marie, Joseph and wife Eva, William and wife Marie, Charlie and his surviving wife Joanne. Also his sister-in-law's Christine and her late husband Frank Sebest, the late Louise and her husband Peter Magarelli, the late Pat and his wife Evelyn Capitelli, Carolyn and her late husband James Roselle, MaryAnn and her late husband Paul Korz. Raymond not only loved but he was loved by so many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Raymond loved and served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from a long career as a Sheet Metal Worker. Raymond was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River, NJ.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4 to 8pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Interment will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd., Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holisticare Hospice at www.holisticarehospice.org. or 1268 Rt 37W Suite 2 Toms River, NJ 08755. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
