Mr. Raymond Millard Johnson of Marianna and formerly of Pensacola received the gift of life on June 17, 1964, to the late Delores and Millard Johnson. He gained his wings peacefully on April 3rd at the age of 60, in Pensacola at his family home surrounded by family, friends and those that loved him.

He was a loving father, grandfather and friend who lived his life with strength, humor, love and kindness.

Raymond received his early education in Pensacola, Florida. He graduated from Fenger High school in Chicago, IL. Raymond worked at various jobs in Pensacola including Lewis Bear and Michelin Tire Company. He later moved to Marianna, Florida and worked at Chipola Ford and Peoples Funeral Home. Outside of work, Raymond spent his time fishing, sharing moments with his grandchildren and enjoying his friends. Above all, Raymond loved his family deeply.

In addition to his parents, Millard and Delores Johnson; Raymond was also preceded in death by a daughter, Felicia Renee Johnson; aunt Mable Knight; uncle, Herman Knight.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Raymond Johnson; daughters, Monica Johnson and Keyonna Johnson; sisters, Juanita Johnson and Charlene Johnson; brothers, Robert Johnson and Marcus Johnson; his long-time companion, Alice Gammon; 5 grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, coworkers and friends.

A service celebrating Raymond's life will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home at 1000 S Hwy 29 Cantonment, Florida on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1pm. Viewing will be one hour prior to the 1pm funeral time. Interment will follow.

Raymond will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
