Raymond "Ray" Littleton, 66, of Diberville, Mississippi, formerly of Weirton died on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 22, 1958. A son of Orva Lynn and Ida Mae Littleton.
Ray grew up in Weirton, West Virginia where he enjoyed playing football and baseball throughout his childhood and high school years.
After graduating from Weir High School in 1976, Ray relocated to Atlantic City, NJ in the 1980s, where he spent several years working in the casino industry.
He held positions at various casinos in Wheeling, West Virginia, and Biloxi, Mississippi throughout his career. Eventually, Ray made his home in Diberville, Mississippi, where he enjoyed his retirement with his wife.
In his retirement, Ray could often be found on the golf course, soaking up the sun, or savoring crab legs with an ice-cold beer. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Alabama Crimson Tide football, rarely missing a game.
When he was not cheering on his favorite teams, you'd likely catch him singing his heart out to Elvis's ballads.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brothers John Littleton Sr., and Joseph Littleton Sr.
Ray was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi, his daughters, Rayanna (Joe), and Rachel, their mother, Laura, his grandchildren, Mathew and Presley his stepsons, Larry (Sarah), Tony(Madi), Shawn (Karrie), and their children Daniel, Colette, Emma Lynn, Alithia, Eli, Anna and his loving pup, Cousich.
Family and friends are invited to Ray's visitation at 9 AM on Saturday, September 21, at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM.
Fr. Binu Sebastian will preside.
