Ray was born in Farmington and was the son of Theodore Roosevelt and Louise (Griswold) Mincer. He attended Canandaigua schools and served in the US Marine Corps from 1955-1960. Ray worked for Monroe Tree and Landscape. He and Beverly were foster parents to many children throughout the years. Ray was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Family was the most important thing in his life.
Services are private. Interment with military honors will be in Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Outreach Center, 447 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Canandaigua. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.

To Ray's entire family I sent my deepest sympathy. I always enjoyed listening to some of his stories about the core. And to whom I have always referred to as little Ray hang in there.
