Ray was the son to Tony and Marie Sansone. He was the eldest of 4. He had 3 beautiful sisters, Marlene, Christine and Marilyn.
Ray served in the Army National Guard for 8 years, where he was also a cook/culinary specialist. Was a salesman for New York Life where he worked for over 30 years. Ray married Carol in 1964 and they would've been married for 60 years this November.
They had 2 daughters, Gina and Lisa.
He was a true family man. He adored his wife, and daughters!! Nothing made him happier than spending time with his family! Seeing his grandchildren and great children just elated him!
Family Holidays were always filled with so much joy and laughter because of him.
He was a mild mannered and kindhearted man.
Ray and Carol did a lot of traveling with their friends!
Ray Loved playing golf. He was on multiple leagues and also golfed with Carol.
He also loved playing poker and he also found great pleasure in playing ping pong with his family and friends.
He was an amazing and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather aka Papa brother, uncle and friend.
To know him was to love him. Ray was as witty as can be, he was the life of the party, he had this amazing ability to always make people laugh and smile.
He truly was the Best Husband, and Father and will be missed dearly by everyone.
Visitation Wednesday, April 10th, from 3 to 8 PM at the Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home. Funeral services Thursday, April 11th, starting with 10 AM prayers at the funeral home, proceeding to Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Elmhurst, for 11 AM Mass. Interment private.

Carol, Lisa and Gina - I was so sorry to hear about Ray's passing today from my dad. If I had known sooner, I would have come to the visitation to share my condolences in person. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
