Michael E. Schultz, 73, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, with family by his side. He was born June 2, 1952 in Chicago, to the late Edward and the late Marcella Schultz.

Beloved husband of 53 years to his high school sweetheart, Patricia; Dedicated father of Thomas, Rebecca (Ryan) and Michael (Nicole); Loving grandfather of Isabella, Remington, Thaelia, Byron, Paxton, TJ and Cameron; dear brother to Sue, Jean, Bob, Ed, Greg and Chris.

Mike enjoyed many hobbies and activities, but what he loved most was doing them with his family and friends. He was an avid golfer, 16" softball player, Cub fan, ping pong wizard, grill master, and hide and seek legend to name a few. There was always a little friendly competition and fun to be had.

Mike's work ethic was unparalleled. He was a hard worker, great provider for his family, and a true jack of all trades. He could always be found working around the house, fixing anything that needed repair or updating, and helping others do so as well.

His selflessness was evident in the way he consistently put others before himself, always ready to lend a helping hand to his family, a friend, or neighbor in need. His kindness left a lasting impact, and his giving continues on as an organ donor. Mike was dearly loved and will be dearly missed by his family, friends, neighbors and all who knew him.
