Raymond Thomas "Ray" Spencer

Raymond "Ray" Thomas Spencer, age 83 of Rickman, Tennessee passed away from this life Monday, January 1, 2023, at his home.
Ray was born March 6, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio, and he was the son of the late George and Pat Spencer.
Ray was an extraordinary man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. Ray owned and operated his own business for more than 65 years. He loved his Yorkies Bella Ray and Little Bit along with his special Great Dane Goliath and spending time with his family.
Ray is survived by, Wife, Esther Louise (Ficke) Spencer; 2 Daughters, Cindy Johnson and her husband, Jim, and Jill Troglen and her husband, Richard; 3 Sons, Scott Spencer and his wife, Sandi, Stephen Spencer, and Eddie Spencer; 4 Grandchildren, Tiffany Burroughs and her husband Kevin, Stefanie Suarez and her husband, Shane, Brandi Smith, and her husband Cody, and Spencer Johnson and his wife, Leah; 11 Great-Grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Nadia, Hunter, Jackson, Skyelar, Spencer, Raiden, Scotty, Camron, Blakely, and Ryker; 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Aydison, River, Elsie, Poppy Rose, and Denver; Brother, Bill Spencer; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by, his in-laws Roy & Alice Ficke and Brother-in-law Don Ficke.
Celebration of Life for Raymond "Ray" Thomas Spencer will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Cookeville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Christian Smith officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Cookeville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
