Raymond R. Strubhar, 66, of Camp Hill, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Lisa A. (Poulsen) Strubhar. They celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary this past June.
Born in Lebanon on October 14, 1956, he was the son of Betty L. (Fulmer) Hancock of Lebanon and the late George H. Strubhar, Sr. Raymond was a mechanic for different box factories in the area. The last one he worked for was PCA in New Oxford. He was proud of his history of racing street stocks, hunting, flea markets and he was working on restoring an old Mustang. Raymond also was an avid history buff and loved western movies.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Matthew S. husband of Ashley Strubhar of Lebanon and Brad A. Strubhar of Elizabethtown; daughter Jennifer L. wife of Alfred Albright of Jonestown; seven grandchildren; brother Randy R. husband of Toni Strubhar of Lebanon; sister Nancy S. wife of David Pickett of Myerstown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers George H. Strubhar, Jr., and Keith A. Strubhar.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
