Raymond Struve Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Oct. 24, 2025.
Raymond Struve, 80 of Marinette, WI passed away on October 21, 2025 at home following a short illness.
Raymond was born in Texas City, TX on December 18, 1944 to Weston and Ann Struve. Raymond married the love of his life, Theresa (Brockington) on October 1, 1966.
Raymond was a proud veteran of the US Navy for 10 years. He went on to have a very successful career in the electric motor repair industry. Throughout his career he helped to manage four different companies' service departments. He was very proud of the work he accomplished and the relationships he grew through his career.
Upon retirement he and Theresa spent the winter months in Gulf Shores, AL where he became known as the "The Legend!" He enjoyed spending time with the many friends they made. His passion for fishing allowed him to teach many people how to fish in saltwater. He was known as the guy that would fix anything for anyone in the condo complex they stayed at. During the summer months you would find them traveling in their RV camping around Wisconsin and then they would always take a big trip accompanied by their daughter-in-law, Laura. Ray loved to spend time outside "fixing something" or building something! Ray's mission everyday was to get at least one person to smile. He had the ability to talk to anyone and become friends with everyone.
His family was his pride and joy! Ray leaves his wife, Theresa; son James (Laura) Struve and their sons Justin, Zach, and Kyle; daughter Cindy (Dan) Struve and her sons family Matthew (Kazuki) Struve and great-grandson, Alex; daughter Lisa (Al) Lemke and their sons Clayton, Jacob and Eli. He also leaves a close family friend, Denise Lentz. Ray has one brother Weston (Pat) Struve of Texas City, TX.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws; brother Bobby and sister Francis and her husband Bob.
At Ray's request there will be no service. Anyone interested in donating flowers please pick any veteran organization and donate funds in memory of Ray!
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the Menominee VA clinic and Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Marinette for the outstanding care provided! A special thank you to Unity Hospice for your assistance to allow Ray to stay at home in comfort. The family would also like to thank Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home for their assistance with arrangements.
