Raymond Teet passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5th, 2025. He was almost 75.
Ray was well liked and highly thought of by the Travel community he thrived in and by friends and family. He loved to travel, traveling the world was his dream. He enjoyed playing golf and riding a motorcycle. He enjoyed the pets we rescued from the local Humane Society.
The most common words used to describe Ray are he was a Quiet & Gentle man, a kind soul, Inspirational and a sweet man. He always made time for others and to help fellow agents and friends with any questions or situations which arose.
Ray was highly involved in travel, starting as a Personal Vacation Planner for Carnival, then co-owning the agency with his wife Joy. He was on the Carnival Travel Agent Advisory board as well as many committees for Dream Vacations and on the CruiseOne/DreamVacations Advisory Council where he just completed his 3-year term. He was a member of ASTA, CLIA and our local TCTIA (Treasure Coast Travel Industry Association).
Ray is survived by his wife Joy, his sisters Rosemary and Margaret, and his brother Charles.
Ray's favorite charities are the the Make a wish Foundation and the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, if you would like to make a donation in his name. (Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 29119, Phoenix, Arizona 85038-9119, and on line at www.wish.org/help/donate or the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, 8890 Glades Cut Off Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, 772-672-8238).
