Raymond Bernard Wade, Jr., 17, of Folkston, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2022 as a result of an apparent drowning accident. Raymond was born on June 21, 2004 to Selina Clayton- O'Kelly and Raymond Bernard Wade, Sr. in Waycross, Ga. Raymond was an 11th grader at Charlton County High School in Folkston, where he participated in both football and basketball, both in which he thoroughly enjoyed. Raymond was well loved by all that knew him. He will forever be remembered for being the supportive, fun loving person that he was. He attended First Baptist Church.
Raymond leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Selina Clayton-O'Kelly, his father, Raymond Bernard Wade, Sr.; his siblings, Leann Edwards, Zechariah Clayton, Lil'myah Clayton, Juel Clayton; his aunts, Debra Clayton, Sheila (Derrick) Stubbs, Mattie McDowell, Mammie Alberta and Daisy (Benjamin) Washington; like an aunt, Iris Brown; his uncles, Gregory Clayton, Randolph (Kim) Clayton, Alfonza (Calista) Alberta and Jimmy (Sharon) Alberta; like a father, Anthony Pinckney; like a mother, Avis Murray; his close friends, Omarion Woodard, " DJ", Cameron Murray, Antonio McDowell, Benaiah, Tijahre and Keshan Williamson; as well as, a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 @ 11 a.m. at Charlton County High School Gymnasium, 994 Indian Trail, Folkston, Ga. 31537. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Everyone planning to attend services are asked to wear your mask and maintain social distances to help reduce the chances of spreading the Covid-19 Virus.
