Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Huntsville on Nov. 4, 2025.
Reagan Blaine Roberts passed away suddenly in Shepherd, Texas, on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Born on May 26, 2002, in Houston, Texas, to Beau & Kelli (Meekins) Roberts, Reagan became a child of God through Baptism on June 30, 2002 and re-affirmed his faith through Confirmation on May 20, 2018. He grew up in Shepherd with his brothers Reece & Rayce and sister Kaci.
Reagan attended Shepherd & Coldspring schools graduating in 2021. He loved sports and enjoyed playing football, basketball, baseball & running track. The highlights of his senior year included being Trojan of the Week, MVP in Tennis, District Champs & going to regionals in track, where he ran on the 400 meter relay, 800 meter relay and the 1600 meter relay.
After high school Reagan attended Sam Houston State University where he became a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. While in college he met and later married the love of his life, Jessica Bilsing. They married on June 11, 2022, and continued school & working. Reagan became a girl dad when Sloane Vienna was born & loved every minute he spent with his "Precious Bebe".
Reagan was a devoted Christian and an active member of Faith Lutheran Church where he served as lector, usher and Faith Lutheran Youth Sponsor. He enjoyed family traditions - frequent get togethers with family for good food and some competitive 42, Pitch, ping pong or corn hole. He looked forward to celebrating holidays, birthdays, the annual Roberts family vacation to Padre Island, Meekins Family week on the river in New Braunfels and later Galveston, attending ball games and activities of his cousins, Big D & Mimi's annual Kuzin Kamp, playing golf or tennis and getting together with friends. A special treat was coaching his younger brother, Rayce, in the Huntsville flag football league. Reagan & Jessica also enjoyed all types of traveling whether they went to Houston or the beach for the weekend or went out of state. They traveled to New York City and Los Angeles just this year. His goal was to complete college and become a coach, and later on to pursue a career as a lawyer. He loved teaching Sloane sports, and had dreams of coaching her in various sports throughout her life. Reagan enjoyed spending time with Sloane at the park, outside, playing soccer, and taking her to the movies. He wasn't fond of singing out loud, but for Sloane, he would sing any Ms. Rachel song she requested. He was a loving, devoted man who cared deeply about this family.
