Dewayne "D" Young, 57, of Conroe, TX, in a tender whisper departed this life at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX on October 24, 2025. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he entered into eternal rest. Dewayne, known for his strong, hardworking ethics and dedication, are just some of the things that contributed to over a decade of success to his diesel mechanic career. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, deer hunting, being a Dallas Cowboy fanatic and spending time making memories with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie "Bill" Young Sr. and Lena Mae Fifer Smith. His brother Bruce Fifer. His sisters Joan Johnson and Cheryl Lynn Williams.
Dewayne leaves behind a legacy of love and strength to cherish his memories. Sons Demarques Young, Colby Austin and Cameron Austin; his brothers Willie Young Jr., Joe L Williams and Donald Williams; his sisters Carolyn White and Kimberly Carter. His loves and influence also extended to his nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. We will forever remember his smile, laughter, contagious spirit and loving heart. He will be deeply missed by all who was blessed to know him.
