COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Reba May Thomas, born on September 15, 1976, in Cookeville, TN, passed away on Sunday August 17, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Reba will be remembered as a devoted mother, a loving daughter, and a beloved sister whose life was a testament to selflessness and unconditional love.
Reba devoted her life to ensuring that her children, Alyssa and Joseph, were well cared for, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to their happiness and success. She took immense pride in her role as a mother, cherishing her twins and celebrating their milestones as her proudest accomplishments. Reba's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family; her kindness and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.
Reba's educational journey began at Cookeville High School and was further enhanced by her experience at Livingston Vocational Academy, where she developed skills that she would carry with her throughout her life. She exemplified hard work and determination, traits that she instilled in her children.
She is survived by her children, Alyssa and Joseph Thomas; her mother, Karen Dubree; her father, Arlie Thomas; her brother, Anthony Ray Thomas; as well as her aunts, Sharron Smith, Marcie Ferran, and Kim Ferran, and her uncle, Greg Ferran. Each of these family members holds cherished memories of Reba that will continue to inspire them in the years to come.
Reba May Thomas leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will not be forgotten. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends who were fortunate enough to know her. As we remember Reba, let us honor her by carrying forward the love and care she so generously shared with the world.
