Rebecca “Becky” Settle Campbell, age 83, wife of Ed Campbell, passed away, Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at her home.
Becky was born on August 9, 1942 in Spartanburg, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Hartwell and Oleta Powell Settle. She was a graduate of Chapman High School, Class of 1960 and Cecil's School of Business. She worked at multiple insurance firms. Becky attended First Baptist Church of Clinton and was a member of the Lenzy Randall Sunday School Class.
Becky is survived by her husband of 62 years; her daughters, Sonya Campbell Atkinson (Lee) and Christie Campbell; her grandchildren, Rebecca Delaney Atkinson Frye (Tanner), Audrey Anna Atkinson Templeton (Dylan), Campbell Hart Atkinson.
In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her siblings, James Larry Settle and Martha Cantrell.
Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Clinton on Thursday. November 20, 2025 at 5:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Blake Harwell and Rev. Jay Roland officiating. The family will greet friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Becky with memorials to VIA Hospice P O Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325 or Alzheimer’s Association, 123 W Antrim Dr, Greenville, SC 29607. To honor the spirit of Becky, please hold a door for someone, share a smile with someone you may not know yet or offer a piece of candy, preferably Werther’s, with others if you have it to offer.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Sonya C. Atkinson, 109 E. Walnut Street, Clinton SC 29325.
