Rebecca A. (Reese) Grassmyer, 60, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 14, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1965 in Johnstown, daughter of Thomas and Rose (Petrore) Reese. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas and her Aunt Kay.
Survived by her loving husband, Steven Grassmyer; her mother, Rose Reese; her children: Robert Lehman (Jess), Marissa Young (Eddie), Ashley Albert (Josh), Steven Grassmyer II (Kristi), Nicole Weigle (Mike), Corrine Grassmyer, Morrison Grassmyer, and Emirson Grassmyer; her siblings: Kimberly Murray (Jim) and Thomas Reese (Melissa); and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also survived by her best friend and dog, Lolli.
Becky was a 1984 graduate of Johnstown High School. She retired from Wal-Mart after 18 years and also served as secretary for Greater Johnstown Youth League.
She loved to crochet stuffies and go to craft shows. She liked to paint in her downtime.
She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and had many friends.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Frank Duca Funeral Home. At her request, there will be no visitation. The family will be scheduling a celebration of her life at a later date.
