Funeral Service for Mrs. Rebecca Cotney Hidbrader, 59, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hidbrader passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Grandview Medical Center (Birmingham). She was born on September 20, 1963, in Miami, Florida to Benjamin Dodgen and Beatrice Humphreys Dodgen. Rebecca was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She doted on her grandchildren and enjoyed every moment spent with them. Rebecca loved hosting family and friends, shopping and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Hidbrader; daughters, Renea Rose (Greg Gilley), Bea Cotney; stepsons, Asa Hidbrader (Shelley), Rob Hidbrader (Lauren); grandchildren, Ben Wagoner, Sam Wagoner, Jocie Berry, Luke Rose, Adalyn Gilley, Avery Gilley; step-grandchildren, Amanda Falk, Haley Oler, Emma Hidbrader, Kelcey Hidbrader, Kelly Hidbrader; brother-in-law, Owen Hidbrader and fur baby, Bobbie K.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Cotney; parents; siblings, Janie Amason, Johnny Dodgen, and Shirley Dodgen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 42040, Oklahoma, City, OK 73123-3000.
