Rebecca Clary "Becky" Jones

Rebecca "Becky" Clary Jones, 62 of Louisburg, NC passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
She was born in 1960 in Halifax County, to Sterling Peebles and Marian Lea Jones Clary and was preceded in death by her husband, David Alan Jones; her sister Allison Clary Walker and her father, Sterling Peebles Clary.
Becky was a 1977 graduate of Brunswick Academy; attended Mid Atlantic Christian University and graduated from Longwood
University in 1985. She taught at Brunswick Academy, the Roanoke Rapids Graded School's and Franklin County Schools. Becky was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church, loved spending time with her family and friends; gardening
and taking care of her animals. She and her husband David were foster parents to several children over the years as well but her greatest joy was raising her son Daniel.
Becky is survived by her son Daniel Jones of Louisburg; her mother, Marian Lea Clary of Gasburg, VA; her sisters,
Angela Page, and her husband Jim of Gasburg, VA and Cheryl Bowen and her husband, Wade of Lawrenceville, VA; her brother, Daryl Clary of Gasburg, VA; her sister-in-law, Rachel Jones of Louisburg, NC; her brother-in-law, Tommy Jones and his wife, Gwen of Roanoke Rapids, NC as well as ten nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews; her special lifelong friend, Sandra Stephenson; special friend Bryant Barnett and her many fur babies.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Minister Greg Hand officiating in the Chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services 731 Roanoke Ave. Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
