Rebecca Oyler Obituary
Becky is survived by her husband William "Bill"; sons Mark Cleaveland and Clayton Gearheart, daughter Shawna Hopkins; parents Paul and Judy Cleaveland; brothers Sgt. Jeff (Kelli) Cleaveland, Larry Cleaveland, and her sister-in-law Connie Cleaveland.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Ben Cleaveland and Kevin Cleaveland.
Rebecca Kathleen Cleaveland was born November 1, 1967, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Judy Chaney Cleaveland. She attended Indianola High School in Indianola, Iowa. Becky married William Oyler on January 17, 2009. Becky worked for S & J Sanitation, bartended at the Pit Stop, and as a CNA and Med Tech at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo. She volunteered at the Marengo Haunted Barn, Marengo Fire Station and the Marengo Car Show. Becky was a Chicago Cubs, Iowa Hawkeye, and Minnesota Vikings fan. She enjoyed fishing, going to the Vinton Speedway, the Iowa County and Iowa State Fair. Becky loved being around people, having the occasional Busch Light, and celebrating The 4th of July, as it was her favorite holiday. She will be missed by many.
