Rebecca was colorful, creative, and full of positive energy! Her sense of humor and dedication to the students and faculty at Providence St. Mel will be sorely missed by all. Rebecca always had new and innovative ideas on how to improve our curriculum and she did not hesitate to share her resources and experience. Ms. Pointe did not play in the classroom! Students knew she loved them and had their best interests at heart, but they also knew not to mess with her :). God bless her for a life well lived and hope for much peace and joy in the great beyond.

Ms. Pointe was an incredible teacher who loved helping the students. Every morning, we will stand welcoming the student in the hallway, but she would go out of her way to tell something nice to each student. As a coworker she would encourage each of us to bring donuts every Friday and to do something nice to each other.

Rebecca always had so many ideas about new activities and field trips to engage her students and give them new experiences. She cared so much for her students and used her witty sense of humor to keep them interested and to show that she cared for them. Rebecca will be greatly missed by her students and by the faculty of Providence St. Mel.

The hallways at PSM that were filled with Rebecca's voice and enthusiasm are a little more quiet now, but the impact she had on our students will never be forgotten!

A fireball of energy every single day. A reminder of the power of joy and determination. Knowing Mrs. Pointe (I didn't call her Rebecca), was more than a blast! She opened up, initiated and instituted so much change in the purpose, power and impact of PSM! I will always remember all of our discussions of change and improvement and forever recognize all of the systems, structures and support that she put in place. It was in her nature to lead and evolve, and her spirit of emphatic energy will always remain in our hearts. Forever remembered, a knight at the eternal roundtable, Madame Pointe!

Rebecca -- Thank you for always saying what others were afraid to for the sake of your students. Thank you for always encouraging your co-workers to not only finish, but to finish with strength and integrity. You taught us to "work smarter, not harder" and your legacy will live on through every single young mind that has been blessed enough with the opportunity to be educated by you. We will continue to count down the Fridays and think of you when we make it to the finish line. Rest peacefully.

Rebecca Pointe was one of the most determined teachers I've ever come into to contact with. We started at Providence St. Mel around the time. She was a fierce advocate and protector for her students. Her loss will be felt at PSM forever, but her memory will live on in the all the students, colleagues, and people she impacted along the way. I'm grateful to have crossed paths with Rebecca, and sad that the paths weren't longer.

Rebecca - you'll be missed more than I can say! I don't think I have ever met anyone so dedicated to their students, anyone so excited and overflowing with ideas and creativity. Nobody here will ever forget you.

Rebecca will be remembered for being a passionate educator. She will be missed for her sharp wit, brilliant ideas, and tremendous commentaries during meetings. She was known for lending her knowledge to our PSM co-workers. Rebecca dove into each project head first. She was fearless in planning, implementing, and chaperoning memorable and valuable field trips, providing students important real world connections to content and curriculum. Prayers are lifted for her and her family.
