REBECCA ANN (SPARKS) ROHRER, 62, of Cedar Bluff, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at her home following an extended illness. Born in Grundy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Hershel "Bob" Sparks and Shelby Jean (Young) Lester. She was a longtime resident of Buchanan County and was of the Christian faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and was a wonderful homemaker. She worked as a CNA, a clerk and had many hobbies including, gardening, woodworking, antiquing, crocheting and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Lee Rohrer; Brother: William Henry Sparks; Sister: Crystal Lenor Sparks.
Those left to cherish her memory include children, Matthew Lee Rohrer of Cedar Bluff, VA, Kelly (Derek) Matney of Raven, VA; Grandchildren: Alivia Paige Matney, Kylie Ann Rohrer and Lincoln Matthew Rohrer; Step-Mother: Hannah Sue Sparks of Shelbiana, KY; Brothers: Johnny (Donna) Elswick of Hurt, VA, Elbert Lester of Bristol, VA, Bobby (Christie) Boyd of Pikeville, KY, Chris (Amber) Tackett of Pikeville, KY; Sisters: Rita Hale of Dismal, VA, Wanda (Danny) Freeman, of Walhalla, SC, Robin (Andy) McCann of Southport, NC, Fallon (Van) Blackburn of Pikeville, KY, Sharon Lester of Bristol, TN.
Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
