Rebecca Woodel

Services for Ms. Rebecca Bartels Woodel, 80, of Jennings, will be held on Monday March 20, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Miguez South Chapel with Brother Bryan Wells officiating. Cremation is to follow the service. Burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M.
Rebecca was born on October 5, 1942, in Jennings, Louisiana to Howell and Genevieve Fitzgerald Bartels. She grew up to be a homemaker. She was a devoted member First Baptist Church in Jennings in which she was a dedicated Christian. She loved Jesus with all of her heart and loved to spread the message of the bible. She enjoyed spending her time writing cards and letters to family and friends letting them know how much she loved them. She loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tammy Woodel of Jennings and Stephanie (Dwayne) LeJeune of Jennings; grandchildren, Elizabeth LeJeune, Heather (Donnie) Woods and Jennifer (Grant) Guinn; great-grandchildren, Peyton Guillotte, Riley LeJeune, Kendell LeJeune, McKenzie Guinn, Anthony Guinn, Samuel Guinn, Rylan Woods, Adelynn Woods and Greyson Woods; one great great grandchild, Audrey Guillotte.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings.
